I am looking forward to this title as it will certainly be yet another great RPG for the current gen gamers. It's nice to see somebody still finds ways to make a great RPG, unlike SE and some of the other devs that have dropped the ball this gen.
There is enough love for such a product at MS that they might well be creating their own virtual social network? Glad to see Sony laid the groundwork on a console version for MS to copy. Hope it works for them. That way, those of us that know the value of Home can serve up a few plates of crow to all the naysayers here that said Home was silly and irrelevant.
Metacritic is bias. Just look at the many obscure websites that pop in with their lousy review and low scores for some of the top level PS3 games and yet no such obscure sites review 360 games and are rarely seen posting any review for Ninty or MS. Sorry, but if you believe that Metacritic is not bias and is just a collection of legit reviews, then you too must believe that there are no fanboys on N4G. Ignorance is bliss.
And besides, if you have a hard time playing games like KZ2 and Modern Warfare on the PS3, it's not the controllers fault. Having both systems, I can say that any controller hurdles can be overtaken very quickly when the player knows how to play the game well.
Great title. I had a blast last night playing it and can't wait to get home from work to play it some more!
If you had wide tracks, you would never gain the same skill used by the hardcore. Wipeout in all of it's speed and sleek tracks is exactly what Wipeout is supposed to be. Crazy addictive, crazy fast, and crazy fun!
The one thing they could do is add a track editor. That way, you could make some wide tracks but keep the core game as it is.
"I tried it and sucked at the game thus found myself hating it."
Sorry, but this is just another poor excuse for a review. If you suck at a game, you should be the last person to review it.
Yeah, I think it was that statement that proved just how big a douche bag Gabe really is. He is a fart knocker. Not much else to say about him.
Had he kept his mouth shut and kept on making games he would not be so hated. If he would have removed his MS butt-cheek blinders and refrained from being a douche in front of the press about the PS3, he would be far less hated. But alas, he did not.
Then shut your mouth. If you have no experience with the title then keep your uneducated opinion to yourself.
The guy really needs some counseling so he can get back on track. Makes me wonder if he had a father that abused him. He just seems so torn up inside.
The PS3 at the moment has the upper hand. There are so many fresh and new titles coming that one would have to be daft to ignore them. Each console has their strengths and weaknesses but at the moment, the 360's weakness is games and the PS3's strength is games so when it comes to gaming, the PS3 takes the cookie.
Let's live in the now. The reason COD4 gets all the praise right now is because it's the most recent title from Infinity Ward. If perhaps they supported COD1 up until now, perhaps it would be the title most talked about at the moment.
COD4 is a great title and fun for those who have enjoyed it since its launch. They have offered up decent support and provided solid game play. It may not be the best in the series but it is the one most played right now. Hopefully, they make COD...
If you think long and hard, what announcements can they bring up that will in fact stir the hearts of the hardcore while at the same time titillate the senses of the casual gamer? None if you ask me. This year will be yet another E3 where the Wii is thrown at the feet of the casual gamer and where Nintendo, while clinching fists of money will laugh maniacally and say.... SUCKERS!
I know it's a dismal outlook but heck, what do you expect from a disapointed fan of Nintendo?
Gan't wait to see yet another trailer of this title. More CGI and enhanced game play...
*roll eyes*
Just release the friggin' game already.
It was pretty funny. RROD is part of the Xbox culture. Get used to it.
And can say one thing. This game is awesome. The demo had me hooked and now the retail game is just absolutely crazy fun.
Well, the HD Radio silly!
I would not play it and I would go as far as to writing the developer to keep a game like this from being made. There is a difference when you are making a game based on war that is fought by soldiers than if you were to make a game about innocent civilians being slaughtered by a cowards group of individuals that hide behind a pathetic religion that claims they are to spread the "word" by the sword.
Wouldn't a new fresh title be something of a new IP and not a sequel?
DJ Hero? Yeah right, like all I need is another huge peripheral in my living room to go along with all the Rock Band gear and Guitar Hero stuff. Sorry, but if I had my pick, DJ Hero would not even be on the honorable mention list.
